Booloominbah Historic House, University of New England, Armidale, New South Wales, Australia.
My former place of employment and the University at which I have done all of my study to date; the University of New England (UNE) is in regional NSW in the New England Region. Looking at these, it’s perhaps not hard to see where that name came from.
This homestead is the centerpiece of the UNE campus and was always one of my favourite part of working on the campus. When you’re wandering across the front lawn on a foggy morning (in winter these are not in short supply) you can almost imagine that you’re in some kind of Gothic romance.
Still waiting on my Mr. Rochester to reveal himself… always waiting…
